We are proud to present the launch party for the very promising CARNASIE RECORDS who already have on their roster three of the best bands in New York as well as the best band in Dallas, Texas -- The John Sparrow. The New York bands grace the stage tonight.

SCHIZO FUN ADDICT - 11:30
Making their long overdue TISWAS debut we present the extremely strange and reclusive SCHIZO FUN ADDICT, who have been described as everything from indie to psychedelic, power pop to hip hop (?) and from baggy to electronica. Fronted by the unlikely named Jet (the man behind the notorious One Love Story -- a Stone Roses conspiracy theory) their shows are more of an avant garde happening than a gig so sit back and enjoy the spectacle.

THE SOFT EXPLOSIONS - 10:30
One of the best rock and roll bands in New York City are the SOFT EXPLOSIONS. Not only do the have one of the best guitarists in NYC in the irresisable Irina, they also have the tightest, funkiest rythem sections in the city perfectly complimented by a great frontman, miss at yout own peril.

DEATH OF FASHION - 9:30
Described by some enterprising critic as "Joy Division, The Velvet Underground, The Strokes and Brian Eno mixed in a blender with a touch of Mary Chain feedback and a tube of crazy glue" we look forward to a return show from the excellently named DEATH OF FASHION.
