SAINTFACE - 12:00
In this age where it seems every band in New York mines the depths of
their post punk record collections for inspiration (not that there is
anything wrong with that) it is with a breath of fresh air we welcome
back SAINTFACE. Featuring lush harmonies, big hooks, stylish presentation
and a dynamic frontman in Pete Riley these guys have more in common
with the Smiths, Pulp and other such intelligent popsters.
THE BLUE SPARKS - 11:00
Having made their TISWAS debut last year -- the day the electric plant
explosion and nearly closed down the night for the first time ever --
The BLUE SPARKS pulled off a rocking set and we have wanted them back
ever since. A top garagey rock n roll act with kicking tunes -- highly
recommended.
ROCK STONE - 10:15
Former guitarist from Boston's electro act Lifestyle returns to TISWAS
with his new rock n roll band. Less electronic, more along the lines
of the Jesus & Mary Chain, BRMC, etc.
LAS VEGAS BASEMENT - 9:30
A special showcase featuring the power pop indie stylings of Dublin's
(Ireland for those geographically impaired) LAS VEGAS BASEMENT.
